How many people are homeless in Natrona County?

This question is answered by the National Point-In-Time Count, taken on a single night in January of people who are experiencing homelessness.

From last year’s count, we know that at least 57 people are homeless and unsheltered on any given night our community.

Volunteers are essential to the count process, and we are actively seeking volunteers for the next Point-In-Time Count on January 23.

Let’s make everyone count!

For more information about becoming a Point-In-Time Count volunteer, call or email Jonathan at 232-0124 [email protected].

Breaking down conceptions of age, you gotta love it!

Just another reminder that age does not define us and we can dream and accomplish more than we often think.

The Inaugural Community Food Supplemental Program for Wyoming was great way to remember a tragic day in our country and partner with Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies to support the seniors of our community. Beautiful things can come from the ashes of great heart ache and loss. Thank you CNCS of Wyoming for your support and encouragement to have Senior Corps remember the day and give back to the community.

What is RSVP?

RSVP is one of the largest volunteer networks in the nation for people 55 and better. You can use the skills and talents you’ve learned over the years, or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within your community.

Service opportunities are as diverse as the communities in which volunteers serve and may include:

· Organizing neighborhood watch programs

· Tutoring and mentoring disadvantaged or disabled youth
