Natrona County Law Enforcement to Host 5th Annual Police Week Block Party
Casper, Wyoming (April 21, 2026) – Law enforcement agencies from across Natrona County will come together on Wednesday, May 13, for the 5th Annual Police Week Block Party, taking place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at David Street Station. The event is free and open to the public.
Held during National Police Week, the block party is a chance for the community to spend time with the people behind the badge in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
This year’s event will include a free BBQ served by leadership from agencies across the county, along with a live DJ, games for kids, face painting, and giveaways throughout the evening. Patrol vehicles and specialized equipment will also be on display, giving residents a chance to take a closer look and ask questions.
The event is designed to support continued engagement between law enforcement and the community, reinforcing the importance of communication, visibility, and strong working relationships that contribute to public safety across Natrona County.
“We look forward to this event every year,” said Casper Chief of Police Shane Chaney. “It’s a chance to spend time with the community in a different way and recognize the partnerships that help keep Natrona County safe.”
The Police Week Block Party continues to grow each year and remains a simple but meaningful way to bring people together in recognition of service, connection, and shared responsibility for community safety.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, bring their families, and be part of the evening.
