❄️ Cold Weather Safety Reminder ❄️

As temperatures drop and more residents turn to additional or alternative heating sources, we want to remind everyone to use extra caution to help keep your home and family safe.

Please ensure all heating equipment is used according to manufacturer instructions, keep flammable materials away from heat sources, and never use outdoor or unapproved heating devices indoors. Make sure smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly, and have a plan in place in case of an emergency.

A little extra awareness during cold weather can make a big difference in preventing fires and carbon monoxide incidents. Stay warm, stay safe, and look out for one another.

Good Evening,
Due to two recent resignations, the Casper Mountain Fire Protection District is looking for two additional board members to serve out these two terms until elections in November 2026. Our mission is to support the volunteer firefighters of the District, as well as assisting in other areas of Natrona County. In order to qualify, you must be a registered voter with your primary residence within the Casper Mountain Fire Protection District.

If you are interested, please contact the district board Secretary Mike Nack at [email protected]. The board will review applications during regular meetings that occur on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Casper Mountain Fire Department at 1000 Lemers Rd, Casper, WY 82601. You are cordially invited to attend a board meeting so we can meet you and answer any questions you may have. This announcement will stay open until these seats have been filled.

We know that your free time is very valuable to you, but we hope you will strongly consider joining us to fulfill this important civic duty. Without a full complement of board members, it is more difficult to accomplish our duties and properly support the fire department, it’s members, and the Casper Mountain community.
