Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) Educational Excellence Through Activities The WHSAA fosters leadership for students through activities in fine arts, vocation education, and athletics.

The activity programs of the WHSAA are available to all Wyoming high school students belonging to a member high school or affiliate member school. The programs include art, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, drama, football, golf, gymnastics, indoor track, journalism, music, skiing, soccer, speech and debate, student council, swimming, tennis, track & field, volleyball, and wrestling. ition the WHSAA acts as the coordinating agency for the vocational activities DECA, FBLA, FFA, FCCLA, and SkillsUSA.

Thursday, September 10th, is the date of the NE District Meeting. It will be held in Gillette and start at 10am.

Wednesday, September 9th, is the date of the SE District Meeting. It will be held in Wheatland and start at 9:30am.

Thursday, August 27th, is the first allowable contest date for Cross Country, Football, Girls Swimming & Diving and Volleyball.

Thursday, August 20th, is the first allowable practice date for 3A, 2A and 1A Football with pads.

08/13/2026

Monday, August 17th, is the first allowable practice date for Cross Country, Volleyball, Girls Swimming & Diving and 3A, 2A and 1A Football without pads. Please have your physical dated May 1st, 2026 or later in order to participate.

Saturday, August 15th, is the first allowable contest date for Tennis.
