Happy Friday!

I've emailed the NCSD board and heard from 'the hill'. They are aware of this proposal. There has been another as well, so the executive director of facilities management and administration and the NCHS Principal are working on this to develop guidelines and provide internal recommendations to the Board of trustees. As such, it would be premature and redundant to speak to the board at the next meeting, I will not be attending. I will be kept informed of the proposal progress and likewise I'll keep this page updated. Please continue to share and like this page to keep the public interest!

Howdy all,

Edited- School board meeting presentation cancelled. See top post. Not much activity lately. I think it's time to propose this at a school board meeting. Next two are on the 10th and 24th. I'll check into what's involved in presenting/ proposing/ speaking at the meeting. I'll let the group know which date. Until then, let's get some more likes and ideas for a pool name!

So while we are garnering support, why don't we multi-task. Please send me your ideas for the pool name via messenger. After I receive 10 different suggestions, I'll post a poll and we can take the top three to the school board. When should we do that? Arbitrarily, I thought after we get 500 likes. Thoughts?

Please share this page to your reunion groups. Also, several...many people have reached out to Lori. She wasn't aware of this page. She is moved by the gaining support. She did say her dad would be honored, but as he was a humble man, he would never be one for self promotion. So, as she is not involved with this 'drive', in respect to Lori and Coach Beman, please direct any comments to this page. Let us, as a community, honor this man.

Howdy all,

With the recent opening of the new pool, it appears that it is lacking something. I think dedicating it to Coach Beman would be fitting. This page is a way to see if anyone else agrees. If this premise shows promise and support, we can propose it to the school board and fundraise for signage. First time creating a page, so please bear with me.
