Our Happy Smiles Fall Storytimes start tomorrow at 10:30 am. Every Thursday (except holidays) we read great stories, play learning games, fingerplays, flannel stories, songs and more for about 30 minutes. A social play time follows afterwards. Plenty of fun and a great time to for parents and children to interact with eachother.

Some of our fun summer craft times included our upcycle flower basket - where kids learned how to make a basket out of a paper grocery bag. They worked on designing their own paper flowers with color combinations.
Seed Art design was also rewarding- learning what the legumes/ seeds were and making designs from different seeds, combining the colors and sizes.
Making a Floral Pen - learning how to use floral tape to create a unique keepsake pen.
NCW libraries and our community members have made this summer very rewarding!

Learn the art of observation as we go on a guided walk (weather permitting) with Botanist and Artist, Olivia Schilling. practice recording data, drawing nature and journaling. Supplies Provided. Take home pamphlet with directions for you to continue this practice on your own time and more! Doors will open early at 8:50 am for this activity.
