The 42nd annual Trek Across Maine, organized by the American Lung Association, will be making their way through Casco and neighboring towns on Saturday, June 20th.

The Casco Day Park will be hosting a Trek Across Maine rest area on June 20th. Parking at the Casco Post Office will be limited during this event. Please try to park on the street to access the Post Office.

The Post Office parking lot will not be accessible from Meadow Road. Vehicles will need to enter from Leach Hill Road and park along the building. Vehicles can then exit using the front exit to Meadow Road.

This 3-day cycling event will take place between June 19th and June 21st during which 800+ cyclists, and hundreds of volunteers will be on the roads. Residents are asked for their patience and extra care by slowing down and sharing the road as the cyclists make their way through Casco.

Residents can help keep cyclists safe by following these safety tips:
▪ Always watch for cyclists on the road.
▪ Always stop and look in both directions before turning right at a red light.
▪ Keep at least three feet between you and a cyclist.

Volunteers Needed!!

The Casco Summer Lunch Program is in need of volunteers to help distribute lunches at the Casco Community Park this summer.

The Summer Lunch Program runs from July 6th through August 21st. Volunteers are needed on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM.

New Location!! This summer the lunch program is being held at the Casco Community Park, 877 Poland Spring Rd.

The Casco Town Office will be CLOSED today, June 9th, for staff administration of the Municipal & State Primary Elections.

Absentee ballots can be returned to the Town Clerk's Office, deposited in the absentee ballot drop box or turned in at the polling location listed above until June 9th at 8:00PM.

The absentee ballot drop box is located at the front entrance of the Casco Town Office at 635 Meadow Road.
