Today, as a nation, we celebrate Memorial Day. Soldiers, from all walks of life, have worked together to protect our nation and keep our freedom. Thank you, to all of our service members who paid the ultimate sacrifice to our country. The history of this retired Army post is not lost on us. We will continue to preserve Fort Ritchie's history and glorify the tens of thousands of service men and women who walked through these gates.
