• Monday's trash will be collected on Tuesday, Sept 8

Applications are now open for the 2026–2027 Cultural Heritage Mini-Grant Program!

Formerly known as the Hispanic Heritage Sponsorship Program, this expanded program supports projects that celebrate and share the diverse cultures, traditions and histories represented throughout Casa Grande’s schools and community.

🎨 Funding may support projects such as:
• Cultural celebrations and heritage observances
• Traditional arts, music and dance
• Student cultural events and community gatherings
• Cultural history and storytelling
• Cultural exhibits and performances
• Workshops, festivals, heritage fairs and more

City council members recently attended the Arizona League of Cities and Towns Annual Conference, where they joined other elected officials from communities across Arizona for several days of learning, networking, collaboration, and celebrating the important work of local government.

The conference provided an opportunity for our elected officials to connect with leaders from across the state, exchange ideas, and learn about issues impacting Arizona communities.

This year’s conference included a special recognition of the dedication and service of two of Casa Grande’s elected leaders:

Mayor Lisa N. Fitzgibbons was recognized for 16 years of service to the City of Casa Grande and Councilmember Bob Huddleston was recognized for 8 years of service.

These milestones recognize the time, dedication, and commitment our elected officials give to serving the Casa Grande community.
