We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton, a talented singer, songwriter, actress, author, philanthropist, and entrepreneur.

United Way of Pinal County is proud to be a partner in one of her most impactful philanthropic efforts - Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Through this program, funded by your donations, more than 3000 children under the age of five in Pinal County receive a free book each month to foster a love of reading and prepare them for kindergarten.

The Imagination Library reflected Dolly’s extraordinary love for children and her belief in the power of books to inspire their dreams. "Before he passed away, my Daddy told me the Imagination Library was probably the most important thing I had ever done,” she said. “I can't tell you how much that meant to me because I created the Imagination Library as a tribute to my Daddy.”

We were happy to support another great Career Fair yesterday hosted by ARIZONA at WORK Pinal County.

🎒Thank you Casa Grande and Pinal County! 💙

What an incredible day at our 2026 Back to School Bash! We are so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and help make this event such a success.

We fed over 620 people and provided over 500 backpacks thanks to our generous sponsor Invenergy, whose support made this event possible.

Attendees enjoyed balloon animals, haircuts thanks to Syisha Hayes, a photo booth thanks to Florence Copper, school supplies thanks to Ivanhoe Electric, and so much more.

Thank you to our wonderful community partners including Casa Grande Alliance, Seedsofhope CasaGrande, and many more for hosting tables and donating school supplies.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and everyone who donated their time and resources to make this day possible. Your generosity and dedication help ensure local students have the tools they need to start the school year ready to learn and succeed.
