NC Capital Area MPO CAMPO provides transportation planning services to the greater Raleigh area.

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is the regional organization charged with providing transportation planning for the greater Raleigh area including Wake County and portions of Granville, Franklin, Johnston, and Harnett counties. The MPO is governed by an Executive Board comprised of elected and appointed officials from all member governments.

The Wake Transit Program works to improve transportation options for people living in, traveling to and through Wake County. The Annual Wake Transit Work Plan defines the projects selected to receive Wake Transit funding. Project scope or budget adjustments may be requested quarterly. The FY2027 2nd Quarter Amendment cycle is underway. Two (2) project amendments have been requested, both from the City of Raleigh.

Visit waketransit.org to view each amendment request and submit feedback to the Wake Transit Team. The comment period will be open from September 4, 2026 to October 4, 2026.
