The South Wake Landfill is projected to reach capacity between 2040 and 2045. To explore future waste disposal options, Wake County will host an information session on the Beyond the South Wake Landfill Study on Tuesday, June 23, from 5–7 p.m. at Downtown Cary Park's Academy Pavilion. Residents are invited to attend, ask questions, and share their feedback.

More housing choices are coming to Cary!

Congratulations to the White Oak Foundation, Inc., on the grand opening of their new mixed-income townhome development. Of the 30 townhomes, 15 are reserved for homeowners at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Supported by Town of Cary funding, this project furthers the Cary Housing Plan and Imagine Cary Community Plan goals through providing affordable homeownership opportunities and leveraging community partnerships.
