Highway 212 construction update: Highway 153 is expected to reopen next week north of Highway 212, weather permitting.

Median work on Highway 212 will change access near the Carver County Public Works facility next week, too. Drivers leaving the facility and heading east will need to travel west first, then use the new J-turn to turn around and head east.

Learn about the upcoming Highway 11 and Highway 40 Project:

* Open House - September 28, 5:00-6:30 p.m. @ Carver City Hall (no formal presentation, arrive anytime and connect with project staff.)
* Project webpage www.carvercountymn.gov/Highway11and40 for up-to-date details and to sign up for project email updates

Significant improvements are coming to Highway 11 (Jonathan Carver Parkway) and Highway 40 (Main Street W) in City of Carver. Join us for an open house to learn more about the proposed design and speak with project staff about construction beginning in 2027.

-Location: Carver City Hall

There will be no formal presentation, so you may arrive at any time during the meeting to learn about the project and connect with project staff.

Steamboat Days - First Responder 5K is tomorrow. If your house is on the route...feel free to write an encouraging chalk message on the sidewalk for the runners or come out and cheer! Race starts at 9:00! Not registered, but want to run?! Sign up to run & support the SW Metro Chamber First Responder Foundation which supports local first responders.

The First Responders 5K & Kids Fun Run is on Saturday September 12, 2026. It includes the following events: First Responders 5K and Kids Fun Run 1K.
