On March 31st, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Belle Fountain Drainage Restoration Project. The Belle Fountain is a major water conveyance for Pemiscot County. The first stretch of work will begin from Caruthersville to Braggadocio. Mike Bernard would like to thank the Memphis District Corps of Engineers for their assistance in maintaining the Belle Fountain.
