The Jasper County Cadet Program provides opportunities for young people interested in public service. Open to individuals ages 15–20, the program meets on the first Tuesday of every month and offers hands-on experiences designed to build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork.
At the most recent Cadet meeting, participants visited the range to learn the importance of firearm safety, proper handling procedures, and range etiquette in a controlled and educational environment. Experiences like these help cadets gain practical knowledge while reinforcing discipline and accountability.
If you know a young person interested in learning more about law enforcement and community service, we encourage them to check out the Jasper County Cadet Program.
