✨ A fresh new look for our Comet Closet donation bin! ✨

Thank you to our Middle School Tech students and Mr. Bayliss for creating this awesome new label.

❤️ Comet Cares supports Carthage students through the Comet Closet, Backpack Program, and other basic needs initiatives. Donations from our staff and community help provide food, clothing, hygiene items, school supplies, and emergency assistance to students in need.

❤️☄️ Congratulations to Carthage Middle School's Builders Club and Student Government students for earning the People's Choice Award and Top Collection Award at Canstruction!

A special shoutout to student Blake Gilmer, who pulled a wagon through her neighborhood collecting donations to support the effort.

Blake and Mrs. Anderson, presented a $1,000 donation to Comet Cares, helping support Carthage students with health, hunger, and hygiene needs. We are proud of their hard work, generosity, and commitment to helping others!

What an AMAZING day at our Touch-A-Truck event at Carthage High School! 🚜🚒🚑🚌

Families from across the community came out to explore vehicles, meet local professionals, enjoy hands-on experiences, and learn about careers in our area. From fire trucks and tractors to construction equipment, buses, boats, and more!

A huge THANK YOU to all that helped make today such a success. We loved seeing so many smiles, curious minds, and future career dreams in action today!

The 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run was held recently in Watertown, celebrating our local Special Olympic athletes and the agencies who support them.

We are proud to share that CHS student Abigail Gilbert and Safety Officer Steven Wood represented Carthage and the Black River Police Department once again. Both have participated for several years, and their commitment to this meaningful event continues to inspire our school community. Way to go, Comets!

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice allows us the freedoms we enjoy each day.

As a district with many military-connected families, we are especially grateful for those who made the ultimate sacrifice and for the families who carry their memory forward. 🇺🇸
