Project-based learning is underway at Clear Creek Elementary! Throughout the school year, our kindergarten nature observers will be observing four Bald-Cypress trees that were planted on Arbor Day. They will be learning how trees grow strong and tall, measuring their tree’s growth, and recording how their tree changes over time. This week, students made their first observations and worked together to give their trees a good start to the school-year with mulch.

Mrs. Myres’ and Mrs. Womack’s students are having fun learning with pattern blocks and graphs! Students are using pattern blocks to create pictures while practicing shapes, patterns, and problem-solving skills. They are also learning how to collect and organize information using graphs and talk about what the data tells them. These hands-on activities make learning exciting while helping students build important skills they can use every day!
