It’s a busy Saturday in Cartersville! From the Farmers Market and 9/11 Run to Remember 5K in the morning to Groove Fest Saturday evening, there’s plenty happening around downtown.

📍 Tabernacle Church Parking Lot
⏰ Saturday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Stop by Saturday morning for fresh produce, locally made goods, and more from local farmers and vendors.

🇺🇸 9/11 Run to Remember 5K
📍 Friendship Plaza
⏰ 5K begins Saturday at 8:00 AM
The 6th Annual 9/11 Run to Remember 5K will bring runners and walkers together to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders who answered the call. The route travels from Friendship Plaza along Cherokee Avenue, Erwin Street and Cassville Road, including a special portion through Cartersville Fire Station 1.
Drivers should expect temporary road closures and delays along the race route Saturday morning. Race day parking is available in and around the Bartow County Courthouse.

🎶 Groove Fest
📍 Friendship Plaza
⏰ Saturday, 5:30 – 10:00 PM
Saturday night, Black Bartow Events and the NWGA Jazz Society are bringing Groove Fest back to Downtown Cartersville! This free event will feature an evening of R&B and jazz, along with food trucks and a vendor village featuring local businesses.

With plenty happening throughout the day, please use extra caution while traveling downtown, watch for pedestrians, and allow a little extra time to reach your destination. We hope everyone enjoys a great Saturday in Cartersville!
