A’Keia Sanders, MBA, Director of the Nevada Governor's Office of Federal Assistance, moderated an insightful panel discussion titled "Navigating Federal Funding: Nevada Success Stories," featuring key industry experts from: American Battery Technology Company, Lithium Americas Corp., DOE Manufacturing & Energy Supply Chains Office (MESC), and Ioneer Ltd. The panel delved into the challenges and successes of securing federal funding for transformative large-scale projects throughout hashtag .

Our experts provided valuable perspectives on overcoming barriers, aligning project proposals with federal priorities, and capitalizing on opportunities to drive growth in Nevada’s critical minerals and energy sectors. Hey , It's Not Too Late to Register for OFA's Upcoming Free Grant Training!

You’ve been invited to register for our upcoming interactive grant training:
Unlocking Federal Funding: Navigating Nevada’s OFA Grant Discovery Tools and Resources.

At this training, you will:
• Gain a better understanding of available grant resources,
• Learn how to navigate and utilize OFA’s online tools, and
• Understand the role of Nevada’s Single Point of Contact.

Those in attendance will participate in a walkthrough of the Grant Opportunities Page, explore the USDR Nevada federal grant discovery tool, learn about the OFA state opportunity funding page, and engage with the Single Point of Contact to learn about the importance of leveraging federal funding opportunities through Nevada’s OFA.

📢Are You Ready For The Uniform Guidance Updates? 📢

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has made revisions to 2 CFR 200, commonly known as Uniform Guidance. These changes incorporate feedback from both the public and federal agencies in response to the proposed guidance released in October 2023. The updates aim to incorporate recent policy priorities, reduce burdens on agencies and recipients, clarify statutory requirements, enhance language, and more. Additionally, these revisions are designed to enhance management, transparency, and oversight of Federal assistance.
