📣 Federal Resources Are Coming to Northern Nevada!

Businesses, community leaders, lenders, agricultural producers, economic development partners, and local stakeholders are invited to join federal regional leadership in Fallon on September 9 for the Interagency Partnership Forum: Advancing Regional and Rural Opportunity Across Nevada Through Federal Collaboration.

Hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in partnership with USDA and HUD, this forum is a great opportunity to hear directly from federal leaders about the programs, resources, financing tools, and partnerships available to support businesses and communities across rural and regional Nevada.

Topics will include:

🔹 Capital access, financing & capital stacking
🔹 Federal funding and investment resources
🔹 Opportunity Zones & HUBZone opportunities
🔹 Housing, infrastructure & agriculture
🔹 Small business resources and advocacy
🔹 Regulatory issues and reform
🔹 Public-private partnerships
🔹 Coordinating federal, state, tribal, county & local resources

Just as importantly, this isn't intended to be a one-way presentation. The forum is designed to create meaningful dialogue between federal leadership and the people working every day to grow Nevada's businesses and communities.

📅 Wednesday, September 9, 2026
📍 Fallon, Nevada
☕ Networking begins at 8:30 a.m.

If you're involved in business, agriculture, lending, community development, economic development, housing, infrastructure, or simply want a better understanding of the federal resources available to rural Nevada, this is a conversation worth being part of.

👉 Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP:

Shoutout to Outside for highlighting Great Basin National Park and sharing why it’s one of the country’s most underrated parks.

Just several hours from crowded Zion, this quiet park offers a truly remote escape with colossal peaks, subterranean caves, and some of the darkest skies in the country. Our contributor Joe Baur says the difference is like a rock concert versus a meditation retreat.

This week, our team came together for our quarterly meeting to connect, collaborate and look ahead to the fiscal year, but first, we took some time to give back to the community. 💚

We spent the day volunteering at Damonte Ranch Park with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful. Together, we:

🌱 Pulled 80 pounds of weeds
🗑️ Collected 5 pounds of microtrash
🧤 Filled 8 bags with weeds and trash
💪 Spread 15 cubic yards of mulch

Every piece of trash removed helps protect the nearby wetlands and waterways.

We’re proud to work alongside a team committed not only to the work we do, but to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and pitched in!
