WE ARE SO EXCITED TO SHARE..........
a great new boutique just opened in the middle of Carson City right on Carson Street that is sure to be a success - if last night's ribbon cutting event was any indication! The customers were lined up to buy the unique clothing and gift items.

We learn to honor our flag before we even fully learn the Pledge of Allegiance that we will recite for the rest of our lives. We are taught through honoring our flag that we are honoring our country..

On Sunday, June 14 at 5 pm, we will have the chance to again honor our country and our community by celebrating the completion of our iconic C-Hill flag that was repaired and reassembled by over 250 volunteers young and old. Many financial donors are to be recognized as well.

At times, there was even drama as helicopter pilots from Skydance Helicopter of Minden picked up and dropped heavy metal panels at the work site for the fit to lift and place to finish the puzzle. Thank you Skydance Helicopter for your amazing contribution!

Join your friends as neighbors as we celebrate this Carson City memorial first erected in 2001 to honor and grieve those who died during the 9/11 attack.
What a great way to kick-off the Carson City celebration to honor our nation's 250th Anniversary!

THIS IS AN ANNUAL MUST SEE/EXPERIENCE EVENT!

The Stewart Indian School Pow Wow is colorful and exciting and gives you insight into our Native American culture. The museum is a poignent reminder of the days when government decided they knew best. Tribes from all over the west come to Stewart to celebrate their culture dressed in native American regalia as tribe members of all ages dance. It's quie the colorful spectacle accompanied by those great Indian tacos and a varitey of vendors.
Held over Father's Day Weekend. Free admission.

We're still receiving kudos for our Baseball All-Star event at Governor's Field on 5/13. Each of the MLB players in attendance presented winners of a raffle with a signed hat.

Since Matt Williams was unable to make the event due to a surprise medical issue, the offcial San Francisco Giants hat was sent to him for signing and today presented to 7-year old Tirzah Carlson of Carson City. Her mother and siblings were present. The hat is a bit large for Tirzah's little head, but she will grow into it.
