Carson City Sheriffs Office is aware of and incident at the Carson City High School. The high school is on precautionary lockdown as we investigate. There is no active threat. Further information to follow.

We have so much exciting news to announce!

First, we'll be hosting our first ever K9 golf tournament in May! Look for an official announcement in a couple of days and join us on the course.

Second, two of our pups just completed their careers and will get to retire at home with their handlers. We'll have photos of the new additions soon 😍.

This limited edition set includes a brand new Christmas patch on the vest, metal CCSO badge with decorative Christmas lights, and your choice of hat with purchase! The dogs selected for this set are K9 Blue, K9 Camper, and K9 Tarzan.

Dogs are $20 a piece, or any combination of 5 for $90, and 100% of the proceeds go to your local CCSO K9 Unit as we build toward funding our next K9.

What a fun day! Thank you to all the agencies who participated and helped us put the event on. And thank you to everyone who braved the heat to support your local K9s!

The areas second regional K9 event was held this last Saturday at Fuji Park in Carson City and brought in 37 law enforcement K9 teams from 12 different agencies throughout Northern Nevada and California.
