John Carroll Area EMS “Carrolltown EMS”

John Carroll Area EMS “Carrolltown EMS” JCAAS is staffed twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week by Paramedics and EMTs. JCAAS will support its employees to accomplish the mission.

John Carroll Area EMS is an EMS service that provides emergency and non-emergency care and transport to residents in Carrolltown Borough, East Carroll Township, West Carroll Township, Allegheny Township, and surrounding areas. Services Provided:

John Carroll Area Ambulance Service (JCAAS) provides both Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support services to Carrolltown Borough and East/West Car

roll and Allegheny Townships. JCAAS transports patients to the facility of their choice or the closest appropriate facility in certain emergency circumstances. JCAAS provides emergent and non-emergent care to the sick and the injured. JCAAS provides services to other areas in addition to those stated above when assistance is requested. Those areas include communities in Cambria, Blair, Clearfield, and Indiana Counties. Facilities and Location

JCAAS main office is located at 239 North Main Street, Carrolltown, Pennsylvania. Organizational Structure

JCAAS organizational structure consists of a Board of Directors and an Executive Director who oversees the business operations of the service, staff activities and operational needs. Paramedics and EMTs are responsible for carrying out the tasks assigned to them, including the treatment and transportation of the sick and the injured. In the business office, JCAAS employs an Office Manager who assists with billing, purchasing, and other tasks assigned by the Executive Director. Management Philosophy/Mission
