I had a great time attending the Illinois County Treasurers' Association conference in Springfield.

The event began on April 21 with a welcome reception, giving everyone a chance to connect and ease into the conference.

April 22 featured a full agenda of useful sessions. The keynote by Nina Meehan focused on practical ways to improve communication in public service, with an emphasis on trust and clarity. Other sessions covered topics like managerial effectiveness, media relations, the role of the State’s Attorney, and an overview of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.

One of the highlights was the Scholarship Luncheon, where we recognized the accomplishments of several outstanding students.

On April 23, discussions included local government audits, the impact of late tax bills, and ways AI can be used in our day-to-day work. The conference wrapped up with a fun Wild West–themed dinner.

Overall, it was a valuable experience with plenty of helpful information and a good opportunity to connect with others in public service.

Join your fellow Illinois county officials for an engaging and informative conference designed to empower you with the latest insights and resources to better serve your communities. Hear from thought-leaders, explore an exhibit hall packed with industry-leading vendors, and connect with colleagues....

The results of the Primary Election have now been officially certified, and I am truly honored and grateful for the support shown by my fellow citizens and neighbors of Greene County, and my family and friends, both near and far.

Thank you to everyone who voted, encouraged me, supported this campaign, and took the time to be part of the process. This experience has been incredibly humbling, and it reinforces something we all know to be true—every vote truly matters.

I also want to extend a sincere and professional congratulations to Karen Kirbach for running a strong, competitive, and respectful campaign. It speaks well of our county and our community when campaigns are conducted with professionalism and integrity.

As I look ahead, I remain fully committed to serving the residents of Greene County with transparency, accountability, and sound financial stewardship. I will continue working hard to earn your trust, not just from those who supported me, but from every citizen in our county.

Now, we turn our focus toward the General Election in November. I look forward to continuing this journey, having more conversations, and sharing my vision for the future of Greene County.

Thank you again for your trust and support, it truly means everything.

Please let us know if you have signs that you’d like us to pick up for you. We will be out and about again this evening.
Thank You!

With peak mowing season right around the corner, our crew will soon begin picking up campaign signs across the district.

If you’d prefer to hang on to your sign and help us redeploy it later this summer or fall for the general election push, you’re absolutely welcome to do so! You’re also more than welcome to keep your sign up year-round if that’s your preference—we truly appreciate the continued support.

As a reminder, all of this is contingent on the final primary results once all mail-in ballots are counted by the March 31st deadline. We’re optimistic and grateful for every bit of support that’s gotten us this far.

Thank you again for being part of our campaign!

Just 2 days until the Primary Election.

Over the past year, it has been an honor to serve as your Greene County Treasurer after being appointed on February 18, 2025. Since then, I’ve worked hard to strengthen the office through greater transparency in tax bills, responsible investing, and careful stewardship of county funds.

But this campaign has always been about more than a position — it’s about our community.

My family and I live here, serve here, worship here, and invest in Greene County every single day. I care deeply about our county and the responsibility of managing its finances with integrity and accountability.

If you believe in transparent government, responsible financial management, and local leadership that works for you, I would be honored to earn your vote.

đź—ł Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 17.

Every vote matters, and your support would mean a great deal to me.

Thank you for the encouragement, conversations, and support throughout this campaign.
