Absentee applications should be finding their way into your mailbox soon! The Ohio Secretary of State's office has sent an application to every eligible voter in the state. If you have already submitted an application or if you do not wish to vote by mail, you may disregard and discard. Please call us with any questions. We will be closed on Monday due to Labor Day. 330-627-2610

The office moved to the Carroll County annex, where early voting begins Oct. 6 and additional parking is available.

The Carroll County Board of Elections will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will resume normal operation on Tuesday, September 8th. Happy Labor Day!

We will be sending out confirmation letters to some Carroll County voters in order to maintain and update our records. It is very important that you open any mail from us. It will have our name and new address on it, as well as the official election mail stamp. If you receive mail from us, please open and respond in a timely manner. Thank you! Questions? The Secretary of State's office will be sending out absentee ballot applications in the beginning of September. Several other interest groups have also been sending them out. A few things to keep in mind;
- You do not have to vote by mail. If you do not wish to vote by mail, simply discard the application.
- We only need one application. If you receive more than one, you only need to fill out one. Not sure if you already sent us one? Call us and we'll be happy to check!
- What happens if I don't get one and I do want to vote by mail? Call us and we'll send you one!
- Fill out the form carefully! (see photo for in depth instructions.)
- Ballots will begin to be mailed out to those who submitted a valid application starting October 6th.
- Early, in person voting, at our new office will begin October 6th.
