In honor of National Crime Victims' Rights Week in April, the West Georgia Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office is hosting "Coffee and Community; Listen. Act. Advocate".
This event is intended to provide victims and survivors, students, professionals who serve victims, and members of the community the opportunity to connect with system and community-based victim advocates, law enforcement, and medical and mental health partners. Attendees can engage by asking questions, learn more about the services and support available, as well tell their survivor stories and lived experiences.
Please come sip coffee and chat with us April 22nd, 2026, from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Carroll County Historic Courthouse.
National Crime Victims' Rights Week is an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about crime victims' rights, honoring survivors, and recognizing professionals who support them. Established in 1981, Crime Victim's Rights promotes laws, policies, and programs aimed at helping victims recover and ensuring they have a voice in the criminal justice system.
