The following roads are closed due to active flash flooding or damage until further notice:

Bay Springs Road at Daniel Road to 61 (open)

Pleasant Grove Road at McPherson Road (open)

S Van Wert from Church Road to 78 (open)

Kinney Lake Road 400 block

Legion Lake is closed

As roads and areas become safe and are reopened, updates will be posted.

We are excited to announce that the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management has been selected as a recipient of the Carroll EMC Impact Grant!

These funds will help launch our new volunteer program, the Sheriff’s CARE Team, Citizens Assisting in Response and Emergencies. CARE Team members will support our community and emergency response efforts when they are needed most.

Stay tuned! Applications and additional details about joining the Sheriff’s CARE Team will be available soon. We are grateful to Carroll EMC for investing in this important new program and the safety of our community!

🚧 **Road Closure 🚧

Due to storm damage, **Legion Lake Road** in Villa Rica remains closed between **Pine Valley Trail** and **Legion Lake Circle**.

Our Public Works Department has ordered the replacement pipe needed to complete repairs. Once the pipe is installed, we will provide an update on when the roadway can safely reopen.

⚠️ **Please do not drive around the barricades.** They are in place for your safety, and attempting to bypass them creates unnecessary danger for both motorists and repair crews.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore the roadway as quickly as possible.
