Today, we were proud to host a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Certification workshop for local cattle producers and beef industry partners.

Special thanks to our very own Animal Sciences & Forages Agent, Court Green-Johnson for leading today’s program and helping our producers strengthen their knowledge of cattle management practices and beef safety standards.

Programs like BQA help support a strong and sustainable beef industry here in Pickens County as well as all of Alabama. We appreciate everyone who attended and invested their time in continuing education and stewardship of the cattle industry.

Pickens County Extension is proud to support our local producers and the future of agriculture in our community! If we can ever assist you, please reach out to us at 205-367-8148.
