Polk Preparatory Academy PTSA Ted Polk MS strives to be a place where kids come to learn in a safe, respectful enriching environment. This page is managed by the TMPS PTSA.

PTA believes in CommYounity and hard work for the best outcome of the kids. This makes Polk Nation a great place for your child to succeed. Polk’s new uniform policy goes into effect TODAY, and the Polk PTSA has one more batch of ties available!

We’ll be selling ties before school this morning:

📍 Outside - in front of Polk main entrance

⏰ 7:30–8:00 AM

💵 $8 cash | $8.50 credit card

💚 50 cross ties and 95 regular ties available

First come, first served, while supplies last!

Uniforms go into effect Monday, 10/19, so get ready now! Polk PTSA will be selling uniform ties on campus all week before school:

🎨🌟 CALLING ALL PANTHER CREATORS! 🌟🎨
The Texas PTA Reflections Program is here! This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me.” What does culture mean to YOU? Share your story, experiences, traditions, family, community, or identity through the arts!

Choose your creative category:
💃 Dance Choreography • 🎥 Film Production • ✍️ Literature • 🎵 Music Composition • 📸 Photography • 🎨 Visual Arts

📅 Polk Prep Deadline: October 27, 2026

📍 HOW TO SUBMIT:
Bring entries to Mr. Lockwood in E128 before or after school. Depending on the category, entries may also be submitted digitally by email or shared through Google Drive with [email protected].

Each entry must include the student’s first and last name, student ID number, a unique title, and a 10–100 word artist statement explaining the inspiration, connection to this year’s theme, and creative choices.

🍪 Our staff had a pretty sweet day at Polk! 💚

🍪 A little reward turned into a whole lot of SWEET! 🍪

Polk PTSA had one of the strongest turnouts at CFB Council PTA Training, earning us a cookie giveaway from Council PTA! 🎉

Naturally, we took those cookies and ran with it. 😉 Polk PTSA added a few (okay…a LOT) more sweet treats and turned our prize into a dessert bar for our amazing Polk teachers & staff!

A big THANK YOU to CFB ISD Council PTA for the fun reward and for giving us the perfect excuse to spoil our staff. ❤️ And thank you to our Polk PTSA volunteers who showed up to learn, connect, and bring new ideas and resources back to Polk!

💚 A BIG thank you to the Green Family! 💚

We’re incredibly grateful to the Green Family, who generously donated a refrigerator for our Polk PTSA concession stand!

The Green Family has been part of CFB for more than 70 years, with multiple generations of proud CFB school alumni. We are so thankful that their support of our schools continues today. 🖤💚

We put their donation to good use at our first game of the season tonight, keeping plenty of drinks ice cold for our Panther fans! 🧊🥤

And we’ll be back at it tomorrow night for 8th grade - come by the concession stand, grab a cold drink and support Polk PTSA!
