This year’s event will include craft vendors, food trucks, a kid zone, live music from local artists, the Greg Willis Cruise-In for specialty vehicles, fireworks, and Children's Parade.

Best places to view: Main Street, Windsor Castle Park, and Smithfield Station
Please note: the public cannot watch directly from Clontz Park for safety reasons, but there is excellent viewing from Smithfield Station and all along the river boardwalk. Clontz Park will also be closed all day to allow for setup and display of fireworks.

June 6th is National Trails Day. Please take advantage of our beautiful trails in Isle of Wight County that our Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation team works so hard to maintain.

Team registration for the Fall Adult Coed Softball Season is now open and ends on August 5, 2026. The registration fee of $400 and forms must be turned in by the first game. Each team must have a minimum of five women to play.

There will be a mandatory Team Captain meeting on Thursday, August 5, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Nike Park Recreation Hall. League rules, schedules, and other season information will be reviewed during this meeting.

Games are primarily played on Wednesday evenings at Nike Park beginning in August. The season will feature a regular season followed by an end-of-season double elimination tournament.

Registration for the Fall Youth Soccer Season is underway. Age groups for this program are: 4-5 year olds, 6-7 year olds, 8-9 year olds, 10-11 year olds, and 12-15 year olds. Players will be placed in the corresponding age group based on what age they will be as September 30, 2026.

Early Registration for the program starts on June 1, 2026, and ends on July 5, 2026.

Regular Registration is from July 6 – July 19, 2026. There will be an additional $10 added to the registration price if a participant is registered during this time frame. All registrations after July 19, 2026, will be placed on a waiting list.

There will be a mandatory parents’ meeting on Thursday, July 23, 2026, in the Nike Park Recreation Hall at 6 p.m.

Games are primarily on Saturdays beginning in September and will be held at Nike Park. Evaluations and practices start the week of July 27.

🐾 Bark in the Park 2026 was a tail-wagging success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon filled with furry fun, including 20+ vendors, SwiftPaws lure coursing, agility courses, kitten yoga, doggie crafts, a pet costume contest, and so much more.

A special thank you to the Miss Furever Love Pageant contestants, who collected and donated more than 1,600 pounds of pet food to help animals in need throughout our community. ❤️

Looking to add a new four-legged family member? Be sure to visit the Isle of Wight County Animal Shelter and meet their adoptable pets.

Thank you to our vendors, volunteers, participants, and pet lovers for making this year's event one to remember. We can't wait to see you again next year! 🐶🐱
