We have been notified by the Kentucky Department of Transportation that June Vehicle Registration notices were delayed in being printed and sent.

If you have taxes or renewals due in the month of June, you can still complete your transactions without the registration notice.

In the coming days, you may receive an unsolicited mailing related to voter registration. This is NOT from election administrators at either the state or local level and may be ignored.
The Voter Participation Center and Center for Voter Information, sister non-profit organizations, are partisan-leaning entities that regularly conduct get-out-the-vote campaigns. These are often confusing to voters, as mailers such as the ones put in the mail this week contain voter information that may be incorrect or may imply that a voter is not registered when, in fact, they already are.
If you receive a mailer from either organization, please disregard; it is not official election mail. Of course, if you have questions, feel free to call our office at (502)732-7005

Yes, I know we just had an election this week and yes, we are still swamped with finalizing reports and all the many post election things we have to do.

We are also already busy preparing for the General Election in November.

Filing deadline for Mayor (all cities), City Council, City Commissioners, School Board (District 4&5), and Soil & Water is JUNE 2nd, 2026 at 4:00pm!

Pursuant to KRS 117.383(8), to validate the accuracy and fidelity of the vote tabulation, the Carroll County Board of Elections along with 1 Democrat and 1 Republican Poll Worker conducted a hand-to-eye audit of the votes cast in one randomly selected race from ballots tabulated by one randomly selected scanner from the May 19th Primary.

The Secretary of State chose the scanner #1 from General Butler Conference Center, and the race randomly selected was District 3 Constable Race.

This audit was performed today at 11:30 with all required personnel present.

The findings from this hand to eye audit tabulation matched the totals printed from the scanner on Election Day verifying the accuracy of the machine.
