Success in school isn't just about academics. Students also benefit from learning skills that support their mental health and well-being.

Helping young people build healthy boundaries, manage their time, navigate social media and recognize when they need support can make a meaningful difference throughout the school year.

NAMI's free Back to School resource hub includes tools, activities and information to help educators support students both inside and outside the classroom.

Iowa HHS officials have confirmed 12 cases of measles in Southern Iowa. Vaccination is our best tool against measles. People who are not vaccinated against measles should talk to their healthcare provider about MMR vaccination.

Anyone present at the locations listed in the link should monitor themselves for symptoms. Symptoms of measles include fever, cough, red/watery eyes, runny nose, and a rash. If you think you have been exposed to measles and have symptoms, call your medical provider or nearest emergency room BEFORE YOU SHOW UP and tell them that you have been exposed to measles and have symptoms.
