Having a baby is one of life’s greatest blessings, but it’s also a significant life change. Postpartum mental health conditions are more common than many realize and early support matters.

In our blog, Mikala Landon, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C at St. Anthony shares the signs and severity of postpartum mental health conditions and how St. Anthony and The Birth Place are here to support you in your journey. 💙 https://bit.ly/4yuD4wE

St. Anthony Regional Hospital invites you to join us as we honor and remember the precious babies who left us too soon due to pregnancy and infant loss.

We will gather for our local Wave of Light event, part of a global movement to raise awareness and support for families who have experienced the loss of a baby.

📅 Thursday, October 15
📍 St. Anthony Memorial Garden, just outside the hospital’s Atrium
🕡 6:30 PM – Service begins
🕯️ 7:00 PM – Candle-lighting ceremony

Please arrive 15 minutes early to decorate a luminary in memory of your loved one. Our time together will include a short memorial walk, prayer, reflection, refreshments and a candle-lighting ceremony at 7 PM.

The service will honor the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren who are forever loved and never forgotten. 🤍

Those who have experienced loss are warmly invited to attend, as well as any community member who would like to show their support as we come together to remember these precious lives.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to honor a loved one, please send their name(s) to [email protected].

There’s no such thing as cuddling your baby too much. Skin‐to‐skin contact for newborns leads to stable heartbeat and breathing,
healthy weight gain, more breastfeeding, and deeper sleep. Bonus:
Skin‐to‐skin contact is a job dads can do too!
