ATTENTION CITY OF CARRINGTON RESIDENTS:
Starting April 27th and thru the end of the week, employees from Interstate Engineering will be in town to assist with the water service line inventory. During this time, you may see Interstate Engineering staff going door-to-door in town. They will be performing visual inspections of water service lines as they enter homes, businesses, and other structures throughout the area. The two Interstate Engineering employees are Jaeger and Nate and they will be wearing high-vis vests marked with Interstate Engineering on the back.

Why is the survey Important?
This inventory is part of a nationwide initiative supported by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality. They are requesting that residents and property owners submit information regarding the material of their water service pipes. This effort will help the city and other water systems track the presence of lead service pipes and ensure safe water access for everyone.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Congratulations to Pam as she has achieved the highest training level through NDLC! We appreciate your commitment to continued education. 👏👏👏

Pam Jerome is the deputy auditor in Carrington and wasn’t able to make it to the Spring Workshop, so Carissa stopped by City Hall this morning to present her with her LTP award. Way to go, Pam! Carrington is home to Dakota Growers Pasta Company, which Wikipedia says was the third-largest pasta manufacturer in North America in 2002, processing about 1.5 million pounds of pasta a day. That’s a lot of spaghetti! Where will Carissa stop next?
