Hi friends. We have several things that will be happening here at the Library soon that we want to share with you.

1. We will be hosting Debbie McVey Master Gardener, Beekeeper to come and share about planting and gardening on the following dates and time: These dates will all be on a Tuesday from 3:30-5 p.m. The following dates....... May19th, May26th, June2nd , June 9th We will have sign-up sheets in the Library starting today May 12th!!
Please come and learn more about how bees work for our good!

2. We have set the date for Summer Reading Program June 23-26 time will be 2-4 everyday! The theme this year: "UNEARTH A STORY" Kids of all ages are invited: Come dig into adventures from the past with us. We will have snacks and crafts each day and all of this is "FREE" Please call the Library to sign your child up or you may call (618) 994-2011

3. Town-Wide Rummage Sale will be set for August 8th
Sign-Up sheets will be at the Library starting next week. Come get your form and fill out to get on the map the cost is $10 any questions please feel free to call the Library 618-994-2011

Attention: We will have an Illinois Treasurer’s Office employee with us here Friday March 13th at the library from 1-3 to help you find out if you have any money in the I-Cash program that is owed to you. Since 2015 the Treasurer’s Office has returned over 2 Billion in assets(cash and value of returned shares).The State Treasurer is holding more than 5 billion dollars in unclaimed funds for Illinoisans. The state holds these lost funds until they are claimed by either the original owner or their heirs. Property is returned at no cost. All you will need is name, and last 4 of social security number. Come out and let’s see if you have lost money. Please share!!

Today marks two years since your passing. It's remarkable how we've all managed to cope. The Library remains successful, which I believe would bring you immense pride, given your passion for it. Your absence is deeply felt every day, and we miss you dearly. One valuable lesson you've left us with was to never give up!! You are loved and missed so much Louis!!💔

Hi everyone. We have 3 bags left at the library that has everything in it to bake a birthday cake. If you know some child or elderly that has a birthday coming up come see me Monday. Also I have a gentleman that is donating a few turkeys Monday. I will post when they’re actually at the library. This is strictly for someone in need. Have a great weekend!
