We're excited to launch Free Time at the Teen Center, a new drop-in program for teens at the Drakeford Library Complex.

Join us on Friday, June 12 and Friday, June 26 from 4:30 - 6 p.m. for an opportunity to hang out, play games, read, relax, and connect with friends in a safe and welcoming space. This pilot program is designed to give teens 13-17 a place of their own and to connect with young people in the community.

4:30 – 6 p.m.

Parents must fill out the online registration form prior to their child participating or register upon arrival. Teens will not be admitted without this registration form. ( https://monkeylink.co/4eca6b )

Jam Session Series presents.....

West African Jam

The West African Jam will offer an exciting workout with adapted dance movements from various regions of West Africa. The moves can be modified for all fitness levels! By the end of class, participants will be familiar with a specific rhythm and choreographed moves. Come feel the rhythm!

VENUE CHANGE TONIGHT:

As a reminder, the Elizabeth Cotten Freight Train Blues Concert Series event scheduled for tonight has been moved indoors to the Drakeford Library Complex's Performance Space. The facility is located at 203 S. Greensboro St. and parking is available in the parking deck located on site.

Due to the potential for severe weather, the Elizabeth Cotten Freight Train Blues Concert Series event for this Friday, May 22 has been moved to the Drakeford Library Complex Performance Space, located at 203 S. Greensboro St.
