We're advocating for making this beautiful green space and mini forest a Carrboro park, rather than expanding Westwood Cemetery. A park is much needed, is in line with Carrboro's Comprehensive Plan, and will provide walkable access to green space, as well as build community in this affordable and culturally diverse area for generations to come! Your voices need to be heard now, as our town council is currently discussing this issue and will be making a decision in the next month or two.
