Sun: CLOSED Franklin County Public Library works in concert with the Wilderness Coast Public Libraries.

The mission of the FCPL is to promote reading and lifelong learning by providing access to informational, educational, recreational, and cultural materials for persons of all ages and to serve as a focus point for community activities. The primary source of funding for the libraries comes from the Franklin County Board of Commissioners and its supplimented with contributions made from the City of

Carrabelle, State Aid to Libraries Grant, Library Services and Technology Act Grant (LSTA), the Watkins Foundation, and the Friends of Franklin County Public Library.

Join Franklin County Public Library for our Summer Reading Kickoff Party and be among the first to sign up for a summer full of reading, discovery, and adventure!

This year's Summer Reading Program features exciting reading challenges, library programs, collectible pins, and chances to win prizes throughout the summer.

At the Kickoff Party, you can:

📚 Pick up a free book courtesy of Bring Me a Book Franklin
🎭 Try on dinosaur masks and celebrate our Unearth a Story theme
🏅 Get your Summer Reading lanyard and badge
📖 Learn about this year's reading challenges and special events
✨ Start earning collectible pins by completing challenges and attending library programs

The more challenges you complete, the more entries you'll earn into our Grand Prize Raffle Drawing at the end of the summer!
