The Town of Carrabassett Valley [Kar-ah-bass-iht Val-lee] located on scenic highway Rt. 27, is home for about 761 year round residents, and many, many seasonal residents. Surrounded by the Bigelow Mountain Range which includes Sugarloaf Ski Resort, we are visited by many people for skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and many other outdoor actviites year round.

2nd Public Hearing For the 2026 Comprehensive Plan-March 18th, 2026, at 5:00 at the Outdoor Center. Town Meeting to reconvene directly after the public hearing at 6:00 pm.

There has been some confusion about the dates/times/location for this year's CV Town Meeting.

Officer Elections Only were/are today, in person at the Town Office, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The results of this election will be announced once completed.

The Town Meeting will then RECONVENE on March 18, 2026, at 6:00 pm, at the Outdoor Center to vote on all remaining articles.
