The cross country meet for Thursday, Sept. 1st has been cancelled due to the excessive heat that is predicted. This meet has been rescheduled as a dual meet with both AMS and HMS for Tuesday, Sept. 13th.

Announcing auditions for the D300 Foundation’s summer theater production, “Into the Woods Junior”. Auditions for this enchanting, dark, hysterical and adventurous musical are on June 3rd and 4th at 9:00 a.m. at Jacobs High School and are open to all District 300 students in middle school and high school. 8th grade Recognition Night will be held at CMS on May 24th. The ceremony will begin promptly at 7 p.m.

Registration information was mailed home last week. Make sure to turn in your information by May 6th. Once you return the information you do not have to come in and register your child during the registration dates in June.

We have several events taking place in the next two weeks at CMS. This Thursday, March 17th we are hosting an Exploratory/Band and Orchestra Recital Family Night at 6:30 PM. On the same evening we are hosting an Educational Opportunity event for parents on Teen Dating beginning at 5:30 PM. On March 21st students will be taking Spring Pictures and our Spring Break will begin at 3:30 on March 25th.

Due to weather conditions, all after school activities are cancelled for this afternoon including the Boys Wrestling Meet, Boys and Girls Club, and After School Tutoring through SES. All students will need to go home immediately after school today February 1st.
