A reminder that the 2026 9/11 Softball Tournament will be held this weekend, Saturday 9/12 at Dow Field! This year we are benefiting Special Olympics RI and Chariho Athletic Association. We were dispatched 11:48 this morning to a reported plane crash at the Richmond Airport, Heaton Orchard Road. The aircraft overshot the runway crashed through a fence and went nose first into the roadway.
No injuries to the pilot or the passenger.
The RI Airport Corporation and Crash Rescue responded to the scene.
Currently the FAA is responding to the airport to continue the investigation.

Our weekly training tonight was a continuation of our rural water supply program. We focused on relay pumping. Radio communication is a vital part of pumping at a fire scene.
