Ten months ago, I took the oath to serve as your County Commissioner.

Since then, it’s been early mornings, long meetings, hard conversations, many miles traveled, and showing up day after day to do the work.

At the same time, we’ve been running a campaign since November. Nights on the phone. Weekends with our community. Listening more than talking. Earning trust one conversation at a time.

And in the middle of it all, we welcomed our second baby into our family.

This season has stretched me as a public servant, a husband, and a dad. There have been late nights after the kids are asleep and early mornings before they wake up, but this community is worth the effort. The future we’re building here is worth the sacrifice.

I’ve poured everything I have into serving you well and running a campaign we can be proud of.

As early voting comes to a close, I’m asking for your vote.

Fayette County, don’t leave anything up to chance. Get out and go vote.

Today, the role of a commissioner is much broader than it was decades ago.

It’s not just about operating equipment or managing the county barn. It’s about long-range planning, protecting property rights, navigating subdivision growth, addressing water infrastructure concerns, working with emergency management personnel, and making complex policy and budget decisions that affect every family in this precinct.

Precinct 2 deserves leadership that understands infrastructure and growth, operations and policy, day-to-day needs and long-term strategy. That’s the perspective I bring, and that’s what our community needs moving forward.

For nearly 30 years, Precinct 2 has had commissioners whose previous experience was working directly in road and bridge. Maintaining our roads and supporting the crews who keep this county moving is a critical part of the job, but road and bridge experience is one piece of the puzzle. It is not the whole picture.

The road forward starts with strong leadership.

I am paving the way for Precinct 2 by focusing on the roads we drive, the water we depend on, and the property rights we value.

If you’re ready to keep Fayette County moving in the right direction, show up and make your voice heard. Your vote matters!

Let’s keep paving the way, together.

Honored to have the endorsement of retired Judge Joe Weber.

Judge Weber knows what strong, steady leadership looks like, and his words mean a great deal to me. I’ve always believed being a public servant means showing up, listening, and doing the work with fairness and integrity.

I’m grateful for his support and ready to continue serving Precinct 2 with the same commitment and dedication every single day.

Early voting is underway. I’d appreciate your vote!

Last week at Commissioners Court, I led a discussion on a proposed resolution to oppose data centers in Fayette County, raising concerns about the potential impacts these large facilities could have on our local resources and the lack of authority the county has to regulate such.

I’m committed to listening to residents, asking important questions, and protecting our county’s long-term interests, and I’d like your vote to ensure that I get to continue.

This topic will be discussed again at the next Commissioners Court meeting on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and I encourage anyone who also has concerns about data centers to attend and share your thoughts. You can read more in the Fayette County Record - link in the comment section.
