ATTENTION taxing districts!!!

On April 24, 2026, all taxing districts should have received an estimated tax computation report for additional verification and proofing via email. Please submit the report back to our office by May 8th. After that date we will be proceeding with tax extension.

There was a typo on the last agenda about the board meeting date. The next meeting is April 21st! They are the 3rd Tuesday of each month unless it falls on a holiday. Below is the link to the meeting schedule!!

In 2025 we did a mass mailing of voter registration cards. If you did not get your card or have not voted in a while, there is a possibility that you could be inactive. Call the office at 618-382-7211 or go to https://ova.elections.il.gov/RegistrationLookup.aspx to check before you head to the polls on Tuesday!!!

Don't know where to vote on Election Day?? Remember that this is a long day for the election judges and a little bit of kindness goes a long way! Their day starts in the polling place at 515 AM and they don't get to leave until after they have closed everything up and reported back to our office!! This can be anywhere between 730 PM to 9 PM or later! Thank them for their service and let's make this a great day for everyone!!

Election day is 12 days away!!! You still have plenty of time to early vote! If you still have a vote by mail ballot out, please get those to the County Clerk's Office or have them hand stamped at the post office to mail them back!!
