The Putnam County EMS Council is excited to announce our inaugural CME Day on Sunday, September 27th!

This full day of EMS continuing education will bring together providers from across Putnam County and the surrounding region for high-quality training, networking, and professional development opportunities.

More details, including course offerings, location, registration information, and CME hours, will be announced as we get closer to the event.

This is a great opportunity to review recent calls, discuss patient care, and earn CME credit while learning from real-world EMS experiences.

The Putnam County EMS Council would like to congratulate all of the recipients recognized at this year’s EMS Recognition Brunch for their outstanding dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving our community.

From lifesaving cardiac arrest interventions to exceptional prehospital care and coordinated emergency responses, these providers demonstrated the very best of EMS, fire, law enforcement, and healthcare teamwork throughout 2025. Their actions made a direct impact on the lives of patients and families across Putnam County.

Please join the Putnam County EMS Council in congratulating Dr. Kelly Ng from Putnam Hospital on receiving the Physician of Excellence Award at this year’s EMS Recognition Brunch.

Dr. Ng has consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication to patient care, collaboration with EMS providers, and commitment to the health and well-being of the Putnam County community. Through professionalism, leadership, and compassionate care, Dr. Ng continues to make a lasting impact on both patients and healthcare providers throughout our EMS system.

Dr. Ng has also worked closely with Council representatives to strengthen partnerships between EMS and the hospital system, increase training opportunities for providers, and improve technology and communication throughout the EMS system — all with the shared goal of improving patient care for the residents of Putnam County.
