We will miss you, Julie! 💙💛
The impact you’ve made on the students, families, and staff at Forest Dale Elementary has been truly special. It’s hard to imagine walking through the front doors without your smiling face there to greet us each day. Wishing you all the best in your new role at the Carmel Clay Schools admin office. They are certainly lucky to have you! Don’t be a stranger… please come back and visit FDE often.
A message from Julie:
I came for the paycheck, I stayed for the snacks,
And helping you all keep the wheels on the tracks.
Wiping up “spills” that make grown people cry,
And fixing the Keurigs and staplers that die.
But the heart of the matter, the part that is true,
Is the love for the kids and the work that we do.
From the stories they told to the lessons they learned,
My love for our students was honestly earned.
Beyond the paperwork and the classroom walls,
Are the friendships I’ve made in these busy halls.
The venting, the laughing, the “Is it Friday yet?”
The finest work family a person could get.
I’m leaving you now with a desk that is clean,
The best group of colleagues that I’ve ever seen.
You’re legends and heroes, you’re stars in the dark,
And each of you certainly left quite a mark.
So call me for book club and socials and more,
I’m not closing the lock on our friendship door.
I’m moving on now to a different view,
But I’m taking the best of my time here—which is you.
Though the halls will be different and the work will be new,
My heart stays behind with this incredible crew.
