It was a pleasure to support this amazing family, The Spencers. To watch this family's willingness to support each other and take turns doing counterpressure and many techniques to support Mom! We began this journey together on Tuesday, April 25th and 2 days later they welcomed their adorable son! Mom showed strength and an open mind to this process! It was amazing to see for a first time Mom! Introducing our April Epitome of Birth Baby, William Emory Spencer Ill born April 27th, 2023 at 1:18am weighing 7lbs 10oz 19.5 inches!

Using a mirror can help in the laboring process. It’s extremely motivational for some laboring women to see their progress, watch their baby descend and crown. It creates a beautiful focal point as well.

Consider using a mirror while you push and add it to your birth plan.
