Monterey County has shut down my Airbnb rental. One of the reasons she stated on the phone was that my counter top in the kitchen was too long. Don't try to make money in Monterey CO. So many rules, so little compassion. Montery Co Board of supervisors SUCK.

Unfortunately Monterey County has decided that I can no longer have an airbnb rental. They created a law that would exclude my house. The only way legally is have some one stay inside your home. My rental is right next door. But I do occupy on room in the house. I'm very disappointed in a system that would take a retired grandmother and take her income away like Social Security is enough. Thank you Monterey County!
