🇺🇸 Flag Retirement Ceremony – Honoring Our Nation’s Symbol 🇺🇸
On Saturday, July 11 at Fish Hatchery Park in Carlyle there will be a meaningful evening honoring the American flag and celebrating our nation's 250th birthday.
This special event, co-sponsored by the Clinton County Historical Society and Scouts BSA Troop 281 of Carlyle, provides an opportunity to properly retire faded, worn, torn, and tattered American flags in accordance with established protocol.
The evening will include:
⭐ 6:00 PM – Food trucks courtesy of the Scouts
⭐ 7:00 PM – Live music by Prairie Travelers inside the Event Hall
⭐ Dusk – Flag Retirement Ceremony
Please bring your own lawn chair and join us for this respectful and patriotic community gathering. The retirement ceremony serves as a reminder of the honor, sacrifice, and freedoms represented by the American flag.
We hope you'll attend this memorable tribute to our country and those who have served under its colors. 🇺🇸❤️💙
If you have an American flag that is no longer serviceable, this ceremony provides a proper and dignified way to retire it.
