🇺🇸 So many patriotic moments at the Carlyle Street Fair tonight. ❤️🤍💙

As we spent the evening together as a community, reminders of what makes our country so special could be found all around the Street Fair.

🇺🇸 A member of the U.S. Army helped fairgoers fill out Cards of Encouragement that will be sent to our troops.

🇺🇸 An Army veteran shared stories while standing beside his beautiful 1972 Ford Mustang Coupe.

🇺🇸 Cheryl with the Case-Halstead Public Library helped kids learn about America’s upcoming 250th birthday and the history behind this incredible milestone.

🇺🇸 American muscle under Old Glory made for a pretty perfect sight at the Car Cruise-In.

🇺🇸 And some of our littlest fairgoers showed off their red, white & blue while laughing, playing and chasing bubbles through the streets. 🫧

These are the moments we love—the stories, the history, the pride, and generations coming together right here in our community.
Small moments that remind us how proud we are to call America home. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 25 YEARS LATER — WE REMEMBER. 🇺🇸

September 11, 2001 is a day many of us will never forget. We remember where we were. We remember the shock, the heartbreak and the uncertainty. We remember the heroes who ran toward danger, the lives that were lost and the families whose lives were forever changed.

But we also remember September 12th.

We remember a country that came together. American flags were everywhere. Neighbors checked on neighbors. Strangers helped strangers. Differences seemed smaller, and for a moment, we were simply Americans standing together. ❤️🤍💙

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we hope to honor that same spirit of unity and service at this weekend’s Carlyle Street Fair.

📦 Help us fill care packages for deployed service members through Soldiers’ Angels. Donation boxes will be available at the Street Fair Friday and Saturday, and we encourage everyone attending to bring an item to donate.

It may seem like a small gesture, but together, those small acts of kindness can mean so much to the men and women serving far from home.

Today, we remember those we lost. We honor those who served. And we remember what it felt like when our country came together as one.

May we never forget. 🇺🇸

We’re excited to have A Bus Load of Bubbles joining us at the Carlyle Street Fair this weekend! 🎉

They’ll be bringing LOTS of bubbles, music, and plenty of interactive fun for the kiddos — but the fun is for all ages! 🫧

🚧 DOWNTOWN STREET CLOSURES – STREET FAIR PREPARATIONS! 🚧

It’s almost Street Fair time! 🎉 Preparations for the 2026 Carlyle Street Fair begin tomorrow Thursday, September 10th, and portions of the downtown streets will be closed as we start getting everything ready for the weekend.

📍 Street Closures:
The streets highlighted in red on the map will be closed tomorrow and Friday for event setup as well as all day Saturday for the event. Thursday evening, the closure on Fairfax Street will be extended north to 11th Street as preparations continue.

🚗 Please use caution while traveling downtown and plan for alternate routes. We greatly appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience while our crews, vendors, and volunteers work to transform downtown for the Street Fair!

🛍️ And remember—our downtown businesses are still OPEN! Even with the street closures, our local businesses are ready and would appreciate the opportunity to serve you. Please continue to stop in, shop, eat, and support them throughout the weekend.

🌸 While you’re downtown, take a little extra time to walk around and enjoy the beautiful flowers throughout the downtown area! A special thank-you to our local flower enthusiasts who put so much time and care into keeping Carlyle looking beautiful. ❤️
