The City of Carlsbad, Carlsbad Fire Department, Eddy County Fire & Rescue, and Artesia Fire Department invite the community to join us for the Fire Prevention Parade on Saturday, October 10!

Anyone is welcome to participate in the parade, as long as their entry follows a Fire Prevention-themed concept. We also encourage the community to come out, enjoy the parade, and help us celebrate this year’s Fire Prevention Poster Contest winners.

⏰ Parade begins at 10 a.m.

CONSTRUCTORS, INC. TRAFFIC DETOUR NOTICE:

Constructors, Inc. is scheduled to DETOUR TRAFFIC on Radio Blvd. around to Quay St. and Curry St. on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

The City of Carlsbad Water Department will be crossing the street with a waterline in the 1900 block of Radio Blvd. and will be closed from 9am to 3pm, or until completion of the installation, weather dependent.

Traffic Control signs, including the detour, will be placed at all intersections in the work area, and personnel will be on-site to assist the public and emergency services.

Work on Radio Blvd. will begin at 9am and conclude upon completion.
