Air 45 assisted on this incident this morning in Monroe Twp, responding on the working fire dispatch. Air 45 filled 20 cylinders.

Company 45 members on scene assisted with fire attack and overhaul operations.

At approximately 0800 hrs, the Monroe Fire Company and mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 900 block of Trindle Road for a reported mobile home fire. Cumberland County automatically upgraded the incident to a working fire assignment due to reports of possible entrapment.

Mechanicsburg Fire Department arrived first on scene and deployed handlines while crews conducted a primary search of the residence. New Kingstown Fire Company arrived shortly after and assisted with search operations and fire attack. Crews confirmed everyone was out and there was no entrapment.

Water supply operations were established from the hydrant at Konhaus and Trindle Road. Additional manpower was requested to assist with overhaul operations. Crews operated on scene for approximately two hours.

There were no injuries reported. The American Red Cross is assisting the occupant displaced by the fire.

Thank you to all mutual aid departments and standby crews that assisted during the incident.

5/19/26: This weeks company training focused on making sure our responders are prepared for water rescue incidents. As one of only 3 water rescue teams in the county and covering over 1/2 the county as the first due boat it is mission critical that we are ready when the public calls for help. Last evening crews reviewed the water rescue trailer and all of the equipment carried. Crews reviewed our different levels of suits and donning and doffing. Members also reviewed and practiced proper throw bag deployment to victims in the water. Chief Grimes reviewed both of our water rescue boats as well as the power plants. Crews exercised the motors and ensured their readiness.

During training Co.45 also took in 2 calls for service including a jet ski on fire and a minor auto accident.

Thank you to all our volunteers and career staff for their dedication to continuous training.
